Singer Ruslana showed her parents for the first time in a long while
Ukrainian singer and winner of “Eurovision 2004” Ruslana Lyzhychko showed her parents for the first time in a long while. The artist shared a family photo with her father, Stepan Ivanovich, and her mother, Nina Arkadievna.
The reunion with her parents took place in Lviv, the singer’s hometown.
“I love my dad and mom more than words can say! Especially when we’re together in my hometown, surrounded by familiar places filled with warm memories,” Ruslana Lyzhychko wrote in the caption of the family photo.
The singer’s post quickly caught the attention of her fans. Social media users left many warm comments about Ruslana’s parents, noting their appearance and how much their daughter resembles her father.
Among the fans’ comments were the following:
- “Cool and beautiful”;
- “Ruslana, you look just like your dad”;
- “How beautiful! Wishing you health and happiness”;
- “You have such beautiful and young parents.”
Ruslana Lyzhychko rarely shares photos of her family on social media, so this new family photo particularly caught her audience’s attention.
Ruslana had previously surprised her fans with a photo showing how youthful her 76-year-old mother, Nina Arkadievna, looks.
At the time, the artist dedicated a heartfelt post to her mother, in which she shared her feelings for her.
“My eternally young, eternally energetic, eternally beautiful… My mom! I’m ready to give you everything to thank you for every moment you’ve given me in this life. I love you more than anything. You are my sun, you are my wind, you are my earth, you are my heart! I breathe you; I am a part of you,” the singer wrote touchingly.

Ruslana Lyzhychko’s new family photo once again showcased her warm and close relationship with her parents.
Ruslana posted the photo on her social media accounts.
Earlier, the singer MamaRika spoke about voice problems she’s been experiencing due to an illness. She noted that she has been practically unable to speak for several days now, so she’s had to give her vocal cords time to recover.
