In the United States, the satirical show Saturday Night Live, in the premiere episode of its 52nd season, aired a sketch about a meeting between Donald Trump and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani in Manhattan. White House aide Natalie Harp appeared in the scene, played by Ashley Padilla.

According to Rolling Stone, the Harp character unexpectedly entered the staged meeting between Trump and Mamdani. She explained her appearance by saying she wanted to be near the president and called herself completely normal.
After that, the character approached Mamdani and threatened him should he harm Trump. James Austin Johnson played Trump in the sketch, while Rami Youssef portrayed Mamdani. In the plot, Trump initially did not know that Harp was in New York and was surprised by her appearance.

As the publication writes, 35-year-old Natalie Harp has worked as Trump’s executive assistant since his return to office as president. She previously hosted on the right-wing television channel One America News and later worked on Trump’s 2024 election campaign.
Rolling Stone also reports that Harp helps manage Trump’s social media account and provides him with positive materials. According to the publication, in letters to Trump in 2023, she called him her guardian and protector and wrote that he was the most important person to her. These letters, Rolling Stone reports, caused concern among some people in Trump’s circle.
