Winter, a member of the K-pop group aespa, will release her solo single Speed of Summer in the alternative punk rock style on August 27. The track is part of the seasonal project of the digital media channel Dingo.
A song about a summer night
As The Korea Herald reports, Speed of Summer conveys a sense of freedom during a fast drive on a summer night with the radio turned up to full volume.

In the track, Winter uses clear high vocals, expanding her musical range as a solo artist. Previously, she mainly showcased a soft and warm sound in a series of soundtracks and collaborative works.

Earlier this month, aespa began its fourth international tour, Synk: Complexity, in Seoul. On September 4, the group will perform in São Paulo, followed by three more shows in Latin America and ten in North America.
