108-meter wind turbine blades are produced in Xinjiang
At the production base of CF WindPower (Xinjiang) Co., Ltd. in Changji, located in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in northwestern China, 108-meter-long wind turbine blades are being produced. Each blade weighs nearly 35 metric tons, and its length is approximately equal to the height of a 36-story building, ECNS reports.
Large blades for onshore turbines
Company employee Wei Yi told China News Network that such products are among the largest onshore wind turbine blades manufactured in Xinjiang. A China News Network photograph shows blades placed on the grounds of the production base in Changji.
The company was founded in Changji at the end of 2022. According to ECNS, over the past three years it has focused on the Xinjiang market and increased blade lengths from 93 and 99 meters to 108 meters. The manufacturer is also working on mass production of blades longer than 110 meters.

Logistics and export plans
As the publication notes, the location of the base in Changji has reduced transportation distances for wind power equipment within the region, improving supply efficiency and lowering logistics costs.
ECNS also reports on local measures to support the enterprise, including targeted subsidies for renting production facilities and purchasing equipment. A company representative said that CF WindPower plans to expand its presence in the local market and export blades to Central Asia.
