Exchange rates as of March 24: The euro rises by 21 kopecks
The National Bank of Ukraine has released the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
According to the regulator’s data, the U.S. dollar remains stable, while the euro has risen significantly in value compared to the previous banking day.
The official US dollar exchange rate remained unchanged at 43.82 UAH per unit.
At the same time, the euro exchange rate showed a noticeable increase, rising by 21 kopecks to 50.88 UAH, while the previous day it stood at 50.67 UAH.
In the cash market at banking institutions, a wider range of buy and sell rates is observed.
The average dollar exchange rate at bank teller windows fluctuates between 43.72 and 44.26 UAH, while the euro trades at 50.60–51.40 UAH per unit.
At currency exchange offices, the situation remains dynamic with a small spread between buying and selling rates.
The average cash exchange rate for the dollar here is 44.05–44.18 UAH, while the euro is offered to customers at 51.10–51.40 UAH.
Leading Ukrainian banks have also updated their rates for non-cash transactions.
At PrivatBank, the card exchange rate for the dollar is set at 43.80–44.44 UAH, and the euro can be bought or sold for 50.75–51.54 UAH depending on the type of transaction.
The popular neobank monobank offers its users slightly different terms for currency transactions in the app.
The card exchange rate for the dollar there is 43.90–44.39 UAH, while the euro trades within the range of 50.80–51.50 UAH per unit.
As a reminder, the dollar is falling due to a drop in oil prices.
The dollar and euro also continue to depreciate following a sharp rise.
