The National Bank has updated the exchange rates for the dollar and the euro as of April 24

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Friday, April 24.

This was reported by the NBU.

According to the regulator, the US dollar exchange rate rose by 6 kopecks and will be 43.94 UAH.

At the same time, the euro fell by 11 kopecks to 51.38 UAH.

Thus, the official exchange rates for April 24 are set at:

1 US dollar — 43.94 UAH;
1 euro — 51.38 UAH.

Compared to the previous day, the hryvnia weakened slightly against the dollar but strengthened against the euro.

As of today, there are 2.6 billion banknotes in circulation in the country with a total value of 913 billion hryvnias, as well as 15.2 billion coins worth 9.6 billion hryvnias. This is approximately 3 billion hryvnias less than at the beginning of the year.

The National Police have concluded their investigation into a group of foreign nationals who organized a channel for the supply and sale of counterfeit U.S. currency.
