Exchange rates as of March 30: The dollar and the euro are falling

The National Bank of Ukraine reported a slight strengthening of the national currency on the country's foreign exchange market.

According to the regulator’s updated data, the value of the U.S. dollar fell by 4 kopecks, while the euro lost 13 kopecks.

The official exchange rate for the US dollar on Monday, March 30, was set at 43.84 UAH. For comparison, as of March 27, this figure stood at 43.88 UAH, indicating the hryvnia’s stability.

The European currency showed a more pronounced downward trend compared to the US dollar. The new official exchange rate for the euro is 50.48 UAH, while the previous rate stood at 50.61 UAH.

Such fluctuations are common in the banking sector and reflect the current balance of supply and demand.

The National Bank continues to monitor the situation to ensure financial stability in the country.

As a reminder, the morning of March 27 brought good news for currency buyers, as the dollar fell by 5 kopecks and the euro by 10 kopecks at exchange offices.

Europe is also preparing to move away from the dollar due to the threat of financial isolation by the U.S.
