Stablecoin transfer volume surpassed $10.5 trillion in January
In January 2024, stablecoin transfer volumes reached a record high of $10.5 trillion — the largest figure since April 2022. This highlights the growing importance of stablecoins in digital finance and payments.

Most of the activity was driven by USDC from Circle, accounting for $8.3 trillion, followed by USDT at $1.7 trillion, and DAI in third place with $138 billion. Transaction volumes for stablecoins had already reached $7.8 trillion by mid-February.
These figures underscore the steady demand for leading stablecoins and confirm their role as a key instrument in cryptocurrency settlements. The growth trend in stablecoin usage is expected to continue in the near future.
