From January 1, 2026, Uzbekistan will officially permit the use of stablecoins as a payment method. This move is expected to boost the development of digital finance and expand opportunities for businesses and investors.

Additionally, legal entities will be allowed to issue tokenized securities. Licensed stock exchanges will introduce dedicated trading platforms for their placement, which could stimulate investment activity and the growth of modern financial instruments.
