What will the magnetic storms on June 3–4 be like, and what should we expect?

Fluctuations in geomagnetic activity are expected on June 3–4, which may affect the well-being of sensitive individuals. Experts note that changes in atmospheric pressure, combined with solar activity, can sometimes trigger headaches, fatigue, and a general decline in health.

Geomagnetic activity is measured on a scale from 0 to 9. The planetary K-index is used for classification; if the index is 5 or higher, it indicates a strong magnetic storm.

June 3. On Wednesday, June 3, solar activity with a K-index of 3.7 (green level) is expected, corresponding to weak magnetic storms.

June 4. On Thursday, June 4, solar activity with a K-index of 3.7 (green level) is expected, corresponding to weak magnetic storms.

It is important to note that magnetic storm forecasts may change, as solar activity researchers update their data every three hours.

The relevant data is provided by the Space Weather Prediction Center.
