Magnetic storms on July 3–4 could be dangerous
On July 3–4, powerful magnetic storms will sweep across the Earth. Due to fluctuations in the geomagnetic field, weather-sensitive people may experience headaches, fatigue, stress, and a general feeling of malaise.
Geomagnetic activity is measured on a scale from 0 to 9. The planetary K-index is used to indicate this; a reading of 5 or higher indicates a strong magnetic storm.
On Friday, July 3, solar activity with a K-index of 5.7 (red level) is expected, corresponding to strong magnetic storms capable of affecting human health and well-being.
On Saturday, July 4, solar activity with a K-index of 5.7 (red level) is expected, corresponding to strong magnetic storms capable of affecting human health and well-being.
It is important to note that magnetic storm forecasts are subject to change, as solar activity researchers update their data every three hours.
