BrainRocket closes offices in Limassol, Cyprus, offers employees relocation
BrainRocket has closed its offices and other rented premises in Limassol, Cyprus, and offered most employees who remained in the country relocation abroad. According to Cyprus Mail, employees were also instructed to work remotely until further notice.
As Politis reported, over the past month the company closed all office and other leased properties in the city, including premises at at least two locations. BrainRocket signs were removed from the buildings.
Relocation to Spain
Most employees were offered relocation packages to Spain or other countries where BrainRocket has offices. A small number of employees may remain in businesses of the broader Soft2Bet group or other companies linked to the same owner. At the same time, BrainRocket’s core operations in Cyprus appear to have ceased, according to Cyprus Mail’s assessment.

The company began moving a significant part of its operations from Limassol to Valencia in the summer of 2025. At that time, BrainRocket employed about 1,500 people in Cyprus, and the restructuring reportedly affected more than 1,000 employees. Hundreds of employees were offered relocation primarily to Valencia, while a smaller part of the operations was planned to be moved to Malta.
Expectations did not materialize
Later that same month, following the company’s contacts with Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, reports emerged that BrainRocket would retain a significant presence on the island. It was assumed that employees who moved abroad would be replaced by new staff in Cyprus. The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry then urged people not to draw conclusions based on incomplete information.
However, over the following year, employees continued to leave Cyprus, while operations were increasingly moved abroad. BrainRocket job postings featured Valencia more often, and some offers included relocation to Spain with flights and temporary accommodation covered. Cyprus is still listed among the locations on the company’s official website, including an address on Makarios III Avenue in Limassol. BrainRocket has not publicly confirmed a complete cessation of operations in Cyprus.
