Team Pride wins PMNC Nigeria 2026 Fall Finals in Nigeria
Team Pride won the PUBG Mobile National Championship Nigeria 2026 Fall Finals tournament, held on September 12–13 at the indoor sports complex of the University of Lagos in Nigeria. The competition featured 16 leading Nigerian PUBG Mobile teams competing for the national title and opportunities to qualify at the continental level, Premium Times Nigeria reports.
The final lasted two days. According to the publication, Team Pride claimed the title after competing in a strong field of participants.
Partnership with Infinix
Infinix Nigeria served as the official gaming partner of the finals. During the tournament, the company unveiled the new Infinix GT 50 Pro smartphone, designed for mobile gaming.
Infinix stated that the device is intended to provide stable performance during extended gaming sessions and precise control. According to the company, the GT 50 Pro is equipped with the HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture liquid cooling system with an active micropump, which dissipates heat from the device's key components.

Smartphone specifications
According to Infinix, the model features dual pressure-sensitive Open-Cut Pressure-Sense GT Trigger controls. The manufacturer says they can be configured for aiming, switching weapons, and other in-game actions. The company also claims native support for 144 frames per second in selected esports games.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor. Among the software features, Infinix listed Hardcore Esports Mode, AI Smart Trigger, AI Voice Prompt, and AI ZoneTouch Master. The GT 50 Pro is the central device of the New GT Ecosystem, which the company says includes gaming equipment, accessories, and software solutions.
In Nigeria, the smartphone is sold through the Jumia platform in Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier colors. The version with 512 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM, with the option to expand RAM by up to 12 GB, costs 849,000 naira.
