Current gas rates for Ukrainians in 2026
Suppliers have kept annual gas prices unchanged at least until spring 2027, while monthly rates in May are fluctuating and may reach 29.20 UAH per cubic meter.

There are currently eight companies operating in the residential gas market. Half of them offer only annual rates, which have remained unchanged and will remain in effect until April 30, 2027. Under these plans, gas prices range from 7.96 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter.
Other suppliers offer both annual and variable monthly rates. In May, monthly prices decreased and range from 8.46 to 29.20 UAH per cubic meter, depending on the company.
Annual tariffs remain the standard for the general public. These are applied automatically, while switching to monthly tariffs is possible only at the customer’s initiative.
Naftogaz of Ukraine remains the largest supplier, serving approximately 98% of residential consumers—over 12 million households. Its tariff of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter has also been extended until the end of April 2027.
Among the annual offers, the lowest prices are from Naftogaz of Ukraine, Ternopiloblgaz Zbut (both at 7.96 UAH), Prykarpat Energo Trade (7.98 UAH), and Halnaftogaz (7.99 UAH). Higher rates are offered by Lvivenergozbut—8.20 UAH, YASNO—8.46 UAH, and SvitloGaz—up to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter.
As for monthly rates, the lowest level in May is 8.46 UAH, while maximum prices reach 29.20 UAH per cubic meter.
Thus, most Ukrainians will continue to pay for gas at fixed annual rates, while market-based monthly prices remain significantly more volatile.
