Bulgarian businesses in Ukraine earned more than 24 billion hryvnia
There are 256 companies registered in Ukraine with Bulgarian beneficial owners that have filed financial statements for 2025. The combined revenue of the largest Bulgarian-owned businesses reached 24.72 billion UAH.
Nearly one in six companies with Bulgarian owners has annual revenue exceeding 100 million UAH. In total, 46 companies exceeded this threshold. At the same time, their combined annual revenue decreased by 6%.
The construction equipment distributor “Construction Machinery” reported the highest revenue among companies with Bulgarian owners—4.43 billion UAH.
In second place was “Green Cool,” a company engaged in the import and distribution of food products. Its annual revenue totaled 2.09 billion UAH.
The energy trader “Elementum Energy Trade” also made it into the top five with revenue of 1.85 billion UAH. The Kostopil Glassworks reported revenue of 1.80 billion UAH, while the Dnister Wind Farm reported 1.56 billion UAH.
Meanwhile, the company “Arkus Ukraine,” which manufactures military vehicles, demonstrated the largest revenue growth. Over the year, its revenue increased nearly 40-fold—from 11.6 million UAH to 462.6 million UAH.
Pyriatyn Delicacies showed the opposite trend. Its revenue fell by 88%—from 3.98 billion UAH to 464.4 million UAH. This was the largest decline among the companies in question.
Nearly half of the companies with Bulgarian owners are concentrated in the capital. There are 123 such businesses registered in Kyiv. Another 39 companies operate in the Odesa region, 20 in the Mykolaiv region, 15 in the Kyiv region, and 11 in the Kharkiv region.
At the same time, not a single company with Bulgarian beneficial owners is registered in the Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Sumy, or Kherson regions.
Most often, companies with Bulgarian owners operate in the wholesale trade sector—there are 53 such companies. Another 42 companies are involved in the supply of electricity and gas, and 29 operate in the real estate sector.
