The State Statistics Service has revised downward its estimate of the decline in Ukraine's real GDP
Real GDP fell by 0.6% in January–March 2026 compared with the same period last year, and by 0.7% compared with the previous quarter (seasonally adjusted).
Nominal GDP in the first quarter amounted to UAH 2,047.2 billion.

This was reported by the State Statistics Service.
The NBU has revised its GDP growth forecast for 2026 downward from 1.8% to 1.3%. According to National Bank analysts, the gradual normalization of Ukraine’s economic conditions and a reduction in geopolitical tensions will accelerate real GDP growth to 2.8–3.7% in 2027–2028.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has revised downward its forecast for Ukraine’s GDP growth in 2026.
