The State Property Fund Earned Nearly 258 Million Hryvnia from Privatization in August
The State Property Fund of Ukraine held 43 successful online privatization auctions in the “Prozorro.Sales” system during August.

A total of 192 buyers participated in the auctions, causing the average sale price of the assets to increase 3.24-fold. The most expensive lot of the month was a share in a complex of buildings in Cherkasy, the price of which rose nearly 28-fold during the sale—from 2.59 million to 72.13 million hryvnias. The agency has already announced 94 new auctions for September and October, with a combined starting value of nearly 5.45 billion hryvnias.

The State Property Fund has fulfilled half of its annual privatization plan.
As a reminder, following the case against Hmyrin, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) exposed new participants in a money-laundering scheme at the State Property Fund.
Earlier, NABU and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) referred to court the case of a former member of parliament whose actions resulted in millions in losses to the state. According to media reports, Andriy Hmyryn, a former advisor to the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, is also implicated in this case; his relatives became millionaires very quickly.
