Lacoste has opened its first café in Latin America

On August 19, the French brand Lacoste opened a café next to its boutique at the Shopping Cidade Jardim mall in São Paulo. This is the first Café Lacoste in Latin America, according to The Rio Times.

The café is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. According to the publication, menu items range in price from 15 to 70 Brazilian reais—approximately $3 to $14.

The menu features French pastries, including classic and pistachio croissants, pain au chocolat, and gouzères—cream-filled cheese buns. Guests are also offered the Croc Monsieur, Croc César, Green Avo Smash, smoothies, and the Eau de Croco drink. The coffee menu includes espresso, macchiato, latte, and pour-over coffee.

Lacoste created a signature coffee blend made from Brazilian beans specifically for the São Paulo location. It’s sold exclusively in Brazil. The café in São Paulo is not the brand’s first location of this type worldwide: the concept is already operating in Paris, and there is also a Le Café Lacoste in New York.

Shopping Cidade Jardim is located in the Morumbi district, near the Marginal Pinheiros highway, and is a premium-segment shopping center. In São Paulo, international fashion brands have already opened restaurants and cafés alongside their stores.
