McDonald's has resumed operations in Mykolaiv
On Friday, March 27, the McDonald's restaurant chain officially opened its doors to residents of Mykolaiv at 43 Pavla Skoropadskogo Street.
The return of the world-famous brand to the city came after a four-year hiatus caused by security and infrastructure challenges.
The opening of the restaurant became possible only after numerous audits confirmed that the water quality fully complied with the company’s internal standards.
The water supply issue was critical, as in April 2022, Russian occupation forces blew up the main water pipeline, leaving the city without drinking water for an extended period.
Currently, the restaurant is fully adapted to modern realities and equipped with an autonomous power source in case of power outages.
The restaurant is open daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and the "McDrive" service operates on an extended schedule—from 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
The limited menu selection is a temporary measure to gradually restore logistics operations in the frontline region.
The chain’s management emphasizes that the safety of staff and visitors remains a priority, as does adherence to the highest product quality standards.
For customer convenience, the “Mobile Order” feature is now available at the restaurant, helping to minimize lines and wait times.
The full launch of all services, including delivery, is expected to take place in mid-April following the completion of the adjustment period.
As a reminder, McDonald’s opened its first restaurant in Irpin.
McDonald’s also opened a new restaurant in Kyiv, creating 60 new jobs.
