Regions Leading in Parking Fee Payments Have Been Named
From January through June 2026, local budgets received 112.4 million UAH in parking fees, which is 11.1% (or 11.2 million UAH) more than during the same period last year.
All funds collected remain in the communities and are allocated to the development of transportation infrastructure, the construction of parking lots, and traffic safety.
Among the regions, Odesa (39.2 million UAH), Lviv (30.2 million UAH), Dnipropetrovsk (27.1 million UAH), and Ivano-Frankivsk (4.7 million UAH) regions lead in terms of revenue collected. The State Tax Service reminded that taxpayers include legal entities and sole proprietors who organize parking, and that at least 10% of spaces in parking lots must be free of charge and accessible to people with disabilities.
This was reported by the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
During the first four months of 2026, Ukrainians significantly increased their parking payments, and local budgets received tens of millions of hryvnias in additional revenue.
