The Rada is predicting the imminent resignation of NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy

The Verkhovna Rada anticipates the imminent resignation of Andriy Pyshnyy, the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, as he has exhausted his credit of trust amid personnel, corruption, and financial scandals.

People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak noted that Pyshnyy will most likely submit his resignation in the near future. Among the reasons cited are the mention of his name in the “Mindich tapes,” his failure to attend meetings of the Temporary Investigation Commission regarding “SENS Bank,” doubts about the legitimacy of his education, and an undeclared property of nearly 900 square meters in the village of Lebedivka, officially registered in the name of his 22-year-old daughter, Svitlana.

TSK Chairman Danylo Getmantsev emphasized that the head of the NBU had appointed associates linked to individuals under investigation to the supervisory board of “SENS Bank.” In addition, People’s Deputy Dmytro Razumkov drew attention to the official’s salary of 600,000 hryvnias, while experts have criticized the NBU’s decision to freeze the accounts of sole proprietors, the initiative to introduce a 2,000-hryvnia banknote—which economist Oleg Ustenko called support for the shadow economy—and the distraction caused by the initiative to rename kopecks as “shagi.”

This is detailed in a journalistic investigation by the “Antireiting” channel.
