Oschadbank has notified customers of a service outage
The State Bank will carry out scheduled maintenance to update the system and test the infrastructure’s resilience between 12:10 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
During this time, customers will not be able to perform card transactions, withdraw cash from ATMs, make payments at POS terminals or online, or use the Mobile Oschad and OschadPAY services. Bank representatives explained that the nighttime was chosen to minimize inconvenience, and that all services will resume normal operation on Monday morning.
These measures are necessary to enhance the reliability of the banking system amid constant cyber threats from Russia and strain on the power grid. Customers are advised to make necessary payments or withdraw cash in advance if they need to conduct financial transactions specifically during the night. Oschadbank emphasizes that the processing upgrade will ensure uninterrupted card service both domestically and abroad. Once the work is completed at 6:00 a.m., all digital and physical services will return to normal operation.
The National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary handed over previously detained cash-in-transit vehicles to representatives of Oschadbank and Ukrainian diplomats.
