US warns of countermeasures if EU continues restricting American companies
Christopher Greer, the US trade representative, stated that the United States will take reciprocal actions if the European Union persists in limiting American companies' activities. This statement highlights escalating trade tensions between the US and EU over alleged discriminatory restrictions.
Greer emphasized that should the EU and its member states persist in discriminatory measures aimed at curbing the competitiveness of American service providers, the US will have no option but to deploy every tool at its disposal to counter these unjustified actions.
This development may escalate trade disputes between the two economic blocs and could result in new sanctions or countermeasures, affecting international trade policies in the near future.
