A $10 million plant will be built in Khmelnytskyi: Karmel is expanding its production

Karmel is investing $10 million in the construction of a new plant to manufacture concrete production equipment in Khmelnytskyi.

This was announced by Dmytro Kysilevsky, deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development.

The facility will be built on the outskirts of the city—the company has already purchased a plot of land where preparatory work has begun. The new plant will cover an area of 18,000 square meters, which is twice the size of Karmel’s current site.

It is expected that the launch of the new facility will triple the output of concrete plants. The company also plans to expand into new areas—the production of self-propelled concrete plants and waste processing lines.

Currently, the company manufactures about 40 concrete plants per year, of which about 30% are exported. Its product range includes concrete mixers, silos, cement dispensers, hoppers, and other equipment.

According to Kysilevsky, there are already over 600 concrete plants operating in Ukraine equipped with Karmel machinery. The expansion of production is driven by growing demand both in the domestic market and abroad, particularly in the United States.
