How much does fuel cost in Ukraine on May 17?
Ukraine’s largest gas station chains have updated their prices for petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas, largely keeping previous prices stable. Currently, the average market price for A-95 gasoline stands at approximately 74.34 hryvnia per liter, while the average price for diesel fuel is 87.75 hryvnia per liter.
This was reported by Glavkom.
The overall stability of the retail sector was disrupted only by minor price adjustments at individual companies: one fuel network lowered the price of diesel by less than one hryvnia, and three other retailers reduced the price of automotive gas by one hryvnia per liter.
Current market monitoring shows the traditional distribution of brands across price segments amid complex logistics following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The highest prices for gasoline and diesel fuel are currently found at stations of the premium chains OKKO, WOG, and Socar. In contrast, the most affordable options for drivers are offered by the filling stations of Ukrnafta and BRSM-Nafta, which keep prices at the market minimum.
