The government has extended the fuel cashback program
The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to extend the fuel cashback program through May 31, 2026, due to persistently high fuel prices and the program’s popularity among citizens.
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.
Starting May 1, the maximum payment amount will be 500 UAH per month per user, based on an analysis of actual payments to most participants. Since the program launched on March 20, over 2 million Ukrainians have received payments, with 91% of users being owners of budget-friendly cars.
Depending on the type of fuel, savings for drivers range from 2 to 13 UAH per liter, specifically 15% on diesel, 10% on gasoline, and 5% on autogas. A total of 219 gas station operators across the country have joined the initiative.
