Housing and construction fair launches in Accra
The second JoyNews Republic Bank Habitat Fair opens on September 11 at Marina Mall in Accra, the capital of Ghana. The three-day event will run until September 13 and bring together representatives of banking, real estate, construction, home improvement, security, renewable energy and technology.
As MyJoyOnline reports, the fair is aimed at prospective homebuyers, developers and property owners. Visitors will be able to explore products and services for buying, building, financing, renovating, furnishing and protecting homes.
Mortgages and housing
Republic Bank Ghana will present mortgage solutions for purchasing, building or renovating housing. The bank offers financing options for salaried employees, self-employed professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners. Bank representatives will also advise visitors on mortgage options and housing financing.

Western Vilas will present a gated residential complex in Ayi Mensah featuring two-, three- and four-bedroom townhouses, as well as luxury villas. The listed amenities include security, a gym, a swimming pool, landscaped gardens, playgrounds and private balconies. The company offers payment plans for purchasing property during construction without paying the full amount upfront.
Materials, energy and security
The fair will feature construction and finishing materials, including wall panels, PVC roofing sheets, PVC marble sheets, plumbing pipes, fittings and accessories. Saint-Gobain Weber Ghana will showcase waterproofing and damp-proofing solutions for foundations, bathrooms, roofs and retaining walls, as well as materials for repairing damaged concrete.
Virtual Security Africa will present video surveillance, access control, security and fire alarm systems, and electric fences. Ctechi Ghana will showcase lithium batteries, inverters, uninterruptible power supply systems and portable energy storage units, while Drive EV GH will present electric vehicles and the X-ChargeEV charging network. Participants will also include companies offering interior solutions, doors and a digital platform for ordering household services.
