Air France to open lounge for 400 guests at JFK in New York
Air France plans to open its own 2,694-square-meter lounge at New Terminal One of John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, United States, in the first quarter of 2027. The two-story space will be able to accommodate up to 400 passengers at the same time.
As reported by AeroTime, the lounge will serve travelers flying with Air France, KLM and other SkyTeam alliance airlines. It was designed by Air France’s in-house team together with the design agency MARKS Brandimage.
Services for passengers
The lounge will offer French gastronomic options, including a selection of French wines and champagne. Separate areas for beauty treatments, relaxation and work will also be arranged there.

A separate section will be provided for top-tier Flying Blue loyalty program members, Flying Blue Ultimate. La Première first-class passengers will receive personalized service and access to a special culinary offering from a renowned French chef.
Flights to New York
New Terminal One CEO Jennifer Aument said that Air France’s investment in the terminal’s largest lounge demonstrates the carrier’s confidence in the modern and seamless travel experience being created at the complex.
According to Cirium SRS Analyzer, Air France operated up to six flights a day between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and JFK in summer 2026. KLM operated another two to three daily flights between JFK and Amsterdam Schiphol. Air France also operated two flights a day to Newark Airport and had codesharing on three daily Delta Air Lines flights between JFK and Paris. Delta Air Lines will continue to operate from JFK Terminal 4.
