In Cyprus, travelers are advised to compare flights from Larnaca and Paphos airports, book parking in advance and check bus schedules to reduce travel costs. This was reported by Cyprus Mail.
Online parking reservations at Hermes Airports can provide a discount of up to 45%. Both airports have bus connections and airport shuttles. In Paphos, routes 612 and 613 connect the airport with the Tombs of the Kings and Karavela stations, while a day ticket, according to the cited information, costs 2 euros. Passengers are advised to check schedules especially carefully late in the evening, as missing the last bus may mean taxi expenses.
Services at airports
Passengers with hand luggage can proceed directly to security after checking in online. Self-service baggage-tagging kiosks operate for luggage in Larnaca and Paphos: Hermes Airports says printing a baggage tag takes less than 10 seconds.
For travel within the EU, the free Shop & Collect service is available: items purchased before departure can be left at the airport and collected after returning to Cyprus. At the same time, the publication warns that duty-free prices should be compared with regular prices. The airports also offer short-term baggage storage, while the Sunflower Lanyard program is available for people with hidden disabilities. The I Can Fly program for autistic travelers and their families provides preparatory materials and priority assistance.

Young citizens and residents of the European Economic Area under the age of 26 can visit the Louvre free of charge. The publication also recalls that when flight tickets are booked under a single reservation, protection in the event of a missed connection is stronger than with separate tickets. If an airline delivers a passenger to an airport other than the one booked, it must pay for travel to the originally specified airport or another agreed point. When paying by card in EU countries outside the eurozone, travelers are advised to choose payment in the local currency to avoid unfavorable dynamic currency conversion.
