Israir plans two weekly flights to Marrakesh and a route to Casablanca — Jerusalem Post

Israeli airline Israir plans to operate two direct flights per week from Israel to Marrakesh, Morocco, starting in early November. The carrier has also applied to launch one weekly direct flight to Casablanca, the Jerusalem Post reports.

Flights to Marrakesh

According to the airline, the service to Marrakesh is expected to operate from early November until early January. The proposed route to Casablanca could also begin in early November, but its launch depends on obtaining the necessary permits.

If the Casablanca flight is launched, Israir passengers will have a choice between two Moroccan destinations. In particular, they will be able to fly to Marrakesh and return from Casablanca without going back to the city of arrival.

Combining two cities

The company said that combining the routes is intended to provide more flexibility for independent travelers, as well as passengers on longer or organized trips. According to Israir, the schedule is designed for both short trips and holidays lasting nine or twelve nights.
