Winter tourist attractions to open in the UAE — The National
Major outdoor tourist attractions in the United Arab Emirates, including in Dubai, will resume operations in late September and October. Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub will be the first to begin their ninth season on September 28, while the Dubai Parks and Resorts theme parks, which have been closed for more than six months, are expected to open on October 7. The National reports.
New formats in Hatta and Dubai
Hatta Resorts will add two restored vintage trailers for accommodation: the 23-square-metre 1958 Coach and the 15-square-metre Route 1948. The 1958 Coach is designed for two guests; both accommodations will have modern amenities and private barbecue areas. Two Premier Lodges will be equipped with small private pools for the first time. Later in the season, Caravan Hatta by Our Habitas is planned to open near Hatta Dam, featuring trailers, a restaurant, a pool and communal areas.
Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, Legoland Dubai and The World of Riverland will return to the Dubai Parks and Resorts complex on October 7. The World of Riverland will add bowling and Lamborghini Automobili racing simulators. Existing entertainment includes go-karting, archery, axe throwing, mini-golf and arcade games.

Gardens, safari and Global Village
Dubai Miracle Garden in the Al Barsha South area will open on October 8. Last season, the 72,000-square-metre garden featured more than 150 million flowers of about 120 species in over 50 arrangements. Its well-known installations include a model of an Emirates A380 aircraft, for which more than 500,000 flowers and other plants were used, a floral castle and heart-shaped tunnels.
Dubai Safari Park in the Al Warqa 5 area will begin its eighth season on October 12 under the theme Live More Wild Life. Visitors will be able to see animals born last season, including Salam, a southern white rhinoceros, and Zuri, a giraffe. The Royal Safari Experience, a four-hour private programme with tours and reserved seating, will be launched for groups of up to ten people. Initially, it will be available through tourism industry partners.
Global Village in Dubai will open on October 14 and begin its 31st season. During the previous season, it had 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 retail outlets and up to 200 rides and games. The venue will operate until May 2027. In addition, the Liwa International Festival 2027 will begin on December 11 in Liwa, in the Al Dhafra region of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and will run until January 2.
