Government Resumes Work of the Coalition Council — Koretsky

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi announced the resumption of the Coalition Council’s work to strengthen cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada.

According to him, the government will hold regular meetings with the leaders of parliamentary factions and groups and will strengthen coordination between relevant committees and ministries. This should improve the quality of government bills and their preparation.

In addition, the government and parliament will analyze Ukraine’s international obligations, agree on approaches to cooperation with international partners, and review the transitional provisions of laws containing directives from the Cabinet of Ministers.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky invited Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius to visit Ukraine in the near future. The invitation was extended during a conversation between the two prime ministers on July 21.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi announced plans to streamline the work of the state apparatus and make governance more efficient. He instructed officials to strengthen coordination among government agencies and oversight of the implementation of government decisions.
