The Presidential Office called Fedorov's idea of holding elections during the war unrealistic

The Office of the President of Ukraine criticized former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov’s proposal regarding the holding of elections.

A source in the Office of the President stated that planning elections while Ukraine is under rocket and drone attacks is unrealistic.

“It’s very strange to plan elections amid rocket and drone attacks,” the source said.

At the same time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not yet publicly responded to Fedorov’s proposal.

Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has called for presidential elections to be held amid the war. In a nine-minute video address released Tuesday evening, he stated the need to restore a full-fledged democratic process even amid a prolonged war, according to The Guardian World.

Russia is already preparing to interfere in the upcoming elections in Moldova by stepping up disinformation campaigns and attempts to influence public opinion.
