Defense forces repelled 174 attacks and halted the enemy's advance in the Sloviansk area

Ukrainian defenders continue to steadfastly hold back the massive onslaught of the occupying forces, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment in key defense sectors.
The situation on the battlefield is characterized by an extremely high intensity of use of remote-strike weapons.
In just one day, the enemy deployed 8,246 kamikaze drones of various types against Ukrainian positions and civilian settlements.
In addition to drone attacks, 2,416 shelling incidents were recorded, including 82 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.
Despite such intense fire, Ukrainian troops continue to decisively repel the occupiers, halting their attempts to advance deeper into sovereign territory.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, the aggressor carried out 65 shelling attacks. In addition to artillery fire, the enemy conducted four assault operations, attempting to identify weak points in Ukrainian defenses near the border.
In the Sloviansk sector, the situation has significantly escalated: the enemy carried out active assault operations nine times.
Combat clashes took place in the areas of the settlements of Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Zakytne, where Ukrainian units successfully repelled all attacks.
The highest intensity of fighting remains in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Defense Forces repelled 32 assaults by the aggressor.
The occupiers attempted to break through in the areas of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, and other nearby towns, but achieved no success.
The situation is no less challenging in the Kostiantynivka sector, where 16 attacks were recorded near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopil, and Toretsk.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attempted to breach our defenses 17 times, attacking in the areas of Lyman and Zarichne.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers were highly active, carrying out 20 attacks toward Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, and directly in the Huliaipole area itself.
Every attempt by the enemy to shift the front line in their favor was met with a fierce response from Ukrainian artillery and infantry.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders four times in the Stepnogorsk area.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, 11 attacks were recorded in the Vovchansk and Starytsia areas, where fierce street fighting continues for every building.
