Golfer Adrian Meronk won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in St Andrews, overturning a four-shot deficit to Casey Jarvis. In the final round, Meronk carded a 68 and finished two shots ahead of his nearest rivals.

The victory was Meronk's fifth career title on the DP World Tour. As Sky Sports reports, Jarvis held a two-shot lead before the fourth day of the competition.
The South African started the final round well, making birdies on the fourth and fifth holes. Jarvis later made bogeys on the ninth and 11th holes.

Meronk made a bogey on the 17th hole, reducing his lead from three shots to two. Jarvis also missed the green on that hole and finished it with a bogey.
Jarvis needed an eagle on the 18th hole to force a playoff, but his putt missed the hole. He finished the tournament with a final-round score of 72 and shared second place with Niklas Norgaard.
