Banton’s century

Opener Tom Banton scored his first ODI century, making 126 runs. His innings included 16 fours and five sixes. Banton laid the foundation for England’s high total after Ben Duckett was dismissed in the second over.

England captain Harry Brook made 77 runs off 66 balls, while Jordan Cox, who replaced the injured Jos Buttler, scored 76 runs off 52 balls. It was Cox’s first ODI match in nearly two years.
