Arabian Falcons invite Benzema, Pogba and other free agents
Dubai football club Arabian Falcons, which plays in the UAE Second Division, has invited players without active contracts to join the team. The club named Karim Benzema, Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho, Riyad Mahrez, Philippe Coutinho, Dani Carvajal and Jamie Vardy among the potential players, The National reports.
Training without long-term commitments
Arabian Falcons is offering free agents the opportunity to come to Dubai, train with the team and play in matches without a long-term contract. Under the terms of the offer, footballers will be able to leave the club as soon as they receive a suitable offer from another team.
Arabian Falcons coach Jonjo Shelvey urged players not to remain without match practice and to join the project in Dubai. The former Liverpool and Newcastle midfielder made six appearances for the England national team.
