Barcelona is ready to sell Torres to PSG
Spain’s Barcelona is considering selling forward Ferran Torres to France’s Paris Saint-Germain. According to media reports, the Catalan club has financial reasons for such a transfer.
Negotiations between the striker and PSG are at an advanced stage. The Blaugranas will not stand in the way of Torres’s move. At the same time, the Catalans will not lower their financial demands for the transfer—50 million euros.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly offered 45 million plus bonuses. “Barça” hopes to invest the proceeds in the purchase of Atlético Madrid forward Julián Álvarez. However, Atlético has no intention of selling the Argentine.
Torres played 49 matches across all competitions last season, scoring 21 goals. The forward’s contract with Barcelona runs through the summer of 2027.
