Dynamo has advanced to the Ukrainian Cup final

Kyiv's Dynamo confidently defeated Bukovyna 3–0 in the Ukrainian Cup semifinals and became the first finalist of the tournament.

Both teams played aggressively in the first half, but it was the Kyiv side that opened the scoring—Matvii Ponomarenko finished off a pass following a quick counterattack. The play sparked controversy, as a Bukovyna player had fallen to the ground moments earlier, yet the attack was not stopped.

Soon after, Dynamo doubled their lead—Nazar Voloshin converted a one-on-one opportunity.

After the break, the hosts tried to turn the tide, but the Kyiv team remained in control. Ultimately, Ponomarenko scored his second goal, setting the final score at 3-0.

In the final, Dynamo will face the winner of the Metalist 1925 vs. Chernihiv match, which will determine the second finalist on April 22.

The club has reduced ticket prices to a symbolic amount. Kolos Kovalivka has changed ticket prices for the Ukrainian Premier League Matchday 25 fixture against Poltava.

Milan midfielder Luka Modrić has been named Croatia’s Footballer of the Year. This marks the tenth consecutive time the player, who joined the Italian club as a free agent in 2025, has received this award.
