FIFA named Saku the Man of the Match in the 2026 World Cup bronze medal game
England national team forward Bukayo Saka was named the best player of the third-place match at the 2026 World Cup against France.
Saka received the award after scoring a hat trick and helping England defeat France 6–4.
Meanwhile, French forward Kylian Mbappé became the all-time leading scorer in World Cup history, and his teammate Michael Olise set a new record for assists, surpassing the achievement of the legendary Pelé.
