Chelsea and Fulham reach the third round of the League Cup
Chelsea beat Luton Town 2-0 in the second round of the English League Cup and advanced to the third round of the tournament. In Xabi Alonso's first official home match as the London club's head coach, Danny Welbeck scored his debut goal for the club.
