Golfer Kim Min-sol rises to 14th in world rankings
In South Korea, KLPGA Tour rookie Kim Min-sol improved her position in the women's world golf rankings for the third consecutive week. In the rankings released on Tuesday, her average stood at 3.80 points. The golfer moved up from 15th to 14th place, the highest ranking of her career.

In August, Kim dropped to 20th after finishing tied for 53rd at the Jeju Samdasoo Masters. She then finished second twice, at the Mediheal-Hankook Ilbo Championship and the KLPGA Championship.
Kim finished third at the OK Savings Bank Eutman Open, which concluded on Sunday. Over three consecutive weeks, these results allowed her to rise from 20th to 18th, then to 15th and 14th, The Korea Herald reports.

Other positions
Eutman Open winner Choi Ye-rim climbed 28 places to 83rd. Seo Kyo-rim, who along with Kim is one of the two leading players of the KLPGA season, remained in 30th place after missing the Eutman Open.
The top four in the world rankings remained unchanged: American Nelly Korda leads, followed by Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand, Ryu Hae-ran and Kim Hyo-joo.
