British boxer Craig Richards will face Radivoje Kalajdzic on September 26 at the Copper Box Arena in London, United Kingdom. The fight will take place on the undercard of Zuffa Boxing 11, which will also feature a bout between Johnny Fisher and Michael Pierroton.

Richards views a victory over Kalajdzic as an opportunity to once again contend for world title fights in the light heavyweight division. According to Sky Sports News, the Londoner said that a convincing performance in this fight could return him to the group of contenders for the championship belt.
In 2021, Richards fought Dmytro Bivol for the WBA light heavyweight title and lost by unanimous decision. The boxer stressed that he aims to become a world champion and considers a bout in front of a home crowd a good start to a new stage.

Kalajdzic enters the fight after knocking out former WBC world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk. He previously also entered the ring against Artur Beterbiev and knocked out former world title challenger Sullivan Barrera.
Richards said that his sporting story is not over yet. The Richards-Kalajdzic fight will be the second most important bout on the evening's card.
