Kukurelya promised to get a tattoo of his coach's face if Spain wins the 2026 World Cup
Spain national team defender Marc Cucurella has said he will get a tattoo of national team head coach Luis de la Fuente if Spain wins the 2026 World Cup.
“If we win the World Cup, I’ll get a tattoo of Luis de la Fuente’s face. It’ll be small, but it’ll be a nice souvenir,” the player said.
The 27-year-old Cucurella is a product of Barcelona’s youth academy. Throughout his career, he has also played for Eibar, Getafe, and Brighton, and currently plays for London’s Chelsea.
In the 2025/26 season, the Spaniard played 50 matches across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
With the Spanish national team, Cucurella has played over 20 matches and won the European Championship.
