Latvia's men's national volleyball team began the final tournament of the European Championship on September 9 with a victory over the hosts, Romania. The match in Cluj-Napoca ended 3:1 in sets: 26:24, 18:25, 25:21, 26:24.

Latvia's upcoming matches
The Latvia national team will play its next match against Germany on September 11. During the group stage, the team will also face France on September 13, Switzerland on September 15, and Türkiye on September 16. All these matches will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Twenty-four national teams are taking part in the final tournament of the European Championship, divided into four groups. The four strongest teams in each group will advance to the round of 16. Group matches are being held in Bulgaria, Romania, Finland, and Italy, while Italy and Bulgaria will host the playoff matches. The medal matches are scheduled for Milan, and the tournament will run from September 9 to 26.
