LNZ has extended its contract with Ponomaryov
LNZ head coach Vitaliy Ponomarev has signed a new contract with the Cherkasy-based club. The contract runs through 2029.
Ponomarev has been leading the team since June 2025. During this time, LNZ has risen from 12th place to win silver medals in the UPL.
Also, under his leadership, the club qualified for European competition for the first time in its history.

Turkish soccer club Fenerbahçe has terminated its contract with Brazilian attacking midfielder Anderson Taliskas by mutual agreement.
In Australia, former North Melbourne head coach Alastair Clarkson stated that he and his family felt publicly humiliated by the way the club announced his dismissal. North Melbourne fired Clarkson on Wednesday, even though he had one year remaining on his contract.
