Nations FC defender Korsah believes in a comeback against Diarra in the CAF Confederation Cup
In Mali, Nations FC defender Dennis Korsah of Ghana said the team can recover after a 0-1 defeat to FC Diarra in the first match of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round. According to MyJoyOnline, the game took place on September 5 at the Mamadou Konate Stadium.

Nations FC, the Ghana FA Cup holders, lost to the Malian club by a one-goal margin. Korsah acknowledged that the result did not meet the team's expectations, but stressed that the players expect to rectify the situation in the return match in Ghana.
According to the footballer, Nations FC could have played better and possibly earned at least a draw. He noted that the team needs to correct one or two mistakes, improve its home performance and try to reach the next round.

Korsah also thanked the Ghanaian community in Mali and representatives of the Ghanaian embassy for their support during the match. He said the team appreciates their efforts and will strive to please its fans.
Nations FC will host FC Diarra in Ghana on September 13. To advance to the second preliminary round without an additional winner-determination procedure, the Ghanaian team needs to win by at least a two-goal margin.
