Lawson has returned to Red Bull and isn't talking about a rematch
New Zealand driver Liam Lawson will race for Red Bull this weekend at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort. He will replace Isak Hajar, who injured his wrist during practice. Lawson said he does not view his return to the main team as an opportunity for redemption after last year’s demotion.
Last season, Lawson was moved to Racing Bulls after the first two races. Now he has been invited to join Red Bull for the race weekend in the Netherlands. According to the 24-year-old driver, last year’s demotion already feels like a distant memory, and he is now grateful for the opportunity to race for the senior team and focused on getting the most out of the weekend.

According to Reuters, after moving to Racing Bulls, Lawson outperformed his successor at Red Bull, Yuki Tsunoda. This season, he is in ninth place in the drivers’ standings, having scored points in eight of 11 races.
Lawson said he learned about his move to Red Bull while returning from vacation during the off-season break. He noted that adapting to a different car will be challenging due to the differences between the vehicles. The Dutch Grand Prix, which will no longer be part of the Formula 1 calendar starting next season, features a sprint race ahead of Saturday’s qualifying session.
