Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk, ranked 13th in the world, continues her preparations for the third Grand Slam tournament of the season—Wimbledon 2026.

Kostyuk held a joint training session with former world No. 1 Serena Williams, who has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles.

The 44-year-old American tennis player recently returned to competition and received a wild card into the main draw at Wimbledon, where she has won the title seven times.

Marta Kostyuk missed part of the preparatory grass-court tournaments due to an ankle injury sustained before the start of the WTA 500 event in London.

The main draw of the Wimbledon tournament will take place in London from June 29 to July 12, 2026.

This was reported by “Great Tennis of Ukraine.”

As a reminder, Marta Kostyuk failed to reach the Roland Garros final, losing to Mirry Andreeva in two sets, and after the match, she candidly explained what prevented her from playing her best. Despite the loss, the Ukrainian achieved her best-ever result at a Grand Slam tournament and will rise significantly in the WTA rankings.

On Thursday, June 4, Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk, who defeated Elina Svitolina in the quarterfinals, will play in the semifinals of the 2026 French Open. Her opponent will be Russian player Mira Andreeva. The match will determine one of the finalists of the prestigious Grand Slam tournament in Paris.

Svitolina also secured a confident victory over an American player and advanced to the round of 16 at Indian Wells.

Sobolenko lost in the quarterfinals at Roland Garros.
