Marta Kostyuk has advanced to the round of 16 at Roland Garros
The Ukrainian tennis player continues her successful run at the tournament in France. Marta Kostyuk (WTA 15) confidently advanced through another round and reached the fourth round of the 2026 French Open.
In the third round, the Ukrainian defeated Switzerland’s Viktorija Golubic (WTA 82) in two sets. This was the third head-to-head match between the rivals. The head-to-head record stands at 3-0 in Marta’s favor.
Kostyuk won her 15th consecutive match on clay, extending her record-breaking streak, and advanced to the fourth round of the tournament in Paris for the second time. Marta will play in the Round of 16 at a Grand Slam tournament for the fourth time. Last season, she did so at the US Open, and in 2024, she reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open.
